HOW TO GET HERE:
Catch subway to Dundas W station and then 40 bus. Get off at Gilmour St. Turn right and walk down Gilmour St and you will hit Maria St. It's only a 30 second walk from the bus stop. We are the big brown house. Follow Snufkins's signs to his cottage. You can also get here many other ways. The postal code is M6P 1W4 if you want to look it up.
We are looking for folks to help with:
organising, postering, decorating, baking, picking up art supplies, ticket/door person, person in charge of arts/crafts on the night, resident painter who paints while the musicians perform, person with car who will help transport things or a really sturdy bike with space, musicians in the folk-pop, indie folk or avant garde realm, spoken word artists, poets, comedians, face painters and anyone else who has something artistic to offer.
Punters will be able to draw, paint, sew, stick things, eat and listen to indie/folk music, watch performers while networking and making new friends in an open, friendly and intimate environment.
We give a % of profits made to a local charity and am looking for creative and caring folk who could get excited about helping put on a night like this every 2-3 months.
