MONDAY 9th NOVEMBER 2009
at PROUD CAMDEN
with FLIPRON, TABLOID, and THEE INTOLERABLE KIDD
Roll up! Roll up! Come inside and be astounded by a cavalcade of
musical and artistic wonders!
HungaMunga is taking the fun to Camden with this new showcase of
our favourite bands with a carnivalesque cabaret hosted by
Professor Geppetto H. Blowfinger. Expect the unusual, the
experimental, and the downright brilliant. Our hand-picked eclectic
line-ups will range from psychedelic folk to dark antifolk via
gypsy klezmer and alt.country with unsigned bands and some big
names.
Imagine a carnival sideshow but with unique and extraordinary
musical acts that will entertain and amaze you, lashings of art
materials for making stuff, and special guest performers.
The first extravaganza on the 9th of November will feature
Glastonbury’s very own FLIPRON (much-feted by Tom Robinson and
countless musical pundits) strange, silly and dark tales lovingly
told with haunting songs with musical influences ranging from
Hawaiian to blues and ska.
